Following an initial report where it appeared David Andrews’ time in New England was coming to an end, Thursday night’s news that there was a change in course was definitely one of the bright spots to close out this week.
ESPN’s Field Yates and Mike Reiss each reported on Andrews return to the Patriots, with the veteran center reportedly agreeing to a 4-year deal with the team. That now has Andrews in the fold for New England moving forward and his impact in the offense definitely can’t be understated.
One of the biggest things that makes him special is the fact he’s so physical up front, with his return in 2020 sparking an improvement in their ground game.
