The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association released the boys basketball All-Ohio teams in Divisions III and IV on Monday. Division I and II honors will be announced Tuesday, followed by the 2022 Mr. Basketball on Wednesday.
From the Columbus area, Africentric junior Dailyn Swain was selected as the Division III player of the year. Swain averaged 21 points per game as he led the Nubians to a state semifinal appearance.
Wellington senior Chase Ouellette, Ready junior Kaleb Schaffer and Harvest Prep junior Nyelle Shaheed were named to the All-Ohio second team.
In Division IV, East Knox senior Shane Knepp earned second-team honors as the lone Columbus-area player on the first or second team.
