Stephen Merchant probably didn’t expect his press day in Boston to be so wild.
The actor, writer, and director best known for co-creating the original British version of “The Office” was at the Ritz-Carlton on Tuesday doing press interviews for his upcoming film “Fighting With My Family.” He wound up right along the Patriots’ Super Bowl victory parade route.
“I just follow the news cycle around on the ‘Fighting With My Family’ promo tour,” Merchant said in a video posted on Twitter. “I was in Chicago for the crazy polar vortex, and now I’m in Boston for the post-Super Bowl parade.
