An abandoned Mercedes-Benz in Brandon Spike’s name was found on the side of Interstate 495 early today. The almost $200,000 car was badly damaged and is being investigated for an alleged hit-and-run that sent 3 people to hospital, including a child. The police are investigating to see if Spikes had any actual involvement in the incident. As of now, the police do not know if the damaged Mercedes was involved with the crash that sent those people to the hospital. A statement is expected Monday.
Whether or not Brandon Spikes was involved with this crash will probably determine if he will remain a Patriots going into pre-season.
