Former Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner was charged with attempted murder on Tuesday after allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend over the weekend in the Los Angeles suburb of La Verne, Calif.
Browner, 33, won a Super Bowl in his only season with New England (2014). He is from nearby Pomona, Calif.

In her written application, Foster cites Browner as having assaulted her, broken her tailbone, busted her eardrum, and given her several black eyes.
