It’s never too early to start thinking about the new year.
New Year’s Day 2020 is less than one week away now, and the final games of the 2019 NFL regular season are set to be played in just three days. Soon Wild Card Weekend will be underway, then the Divisional round, the conference championships, the Pro Bowl (yawn), and finally Super Bowl 54 down in Miami.
Blink and you’ll miss it.
With any luck, the New England Patriots will be playing deep into January and then hopefully into early February as well. The team showed moxie in defeating the Buffalo Bills last Saturday during Week 16’s NFL action… and in the process, the Pats claimed their 11th consecutive division championship.
