Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman is certainly keeping busy.
After appearing on the circuit of morning shows, battling with lightsabers in Disney World, and letting talk show host Ellen DeGeneres shave his beard, a whiskerless Edelman joined teammate, safety Devin McCourty, to present the opening award at the 61st annual Grammy Awards Sunday night.
Before the pair announced the winner for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,” McCourty couldn’t help but acknowledge the Staples Center crowd. After all, the Patriots edged both of the city’s football teams — the Chargers and the Rams — en route to their sixth Super Bowl title this postseason.
