The New England Patriots are reportedly making a slew of moves ahead of training camp.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, wide receiver Mack Hollins, tight end Austin Hooper, offensive tackle Vederian Lowe and linebacker Jahlani Tavai are slated to open training camp on the active/PUP list. Meanwhile, cornerback Carlton Davis III, safety Josh Minkins and wide receiver Jeremiah Webb are going on the active/non-football list.
Both designations mean the players listed have not been cleared yet for practice, but it won't disqualify them from returning at any point. If anything, it will create more opportunities for others to step up and prove they deserve a spot on the 53-man roster.
