If you think that every New York Jets player is licking their lips over New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension in the wake of Deflategate, think again.

"Honestly, I don't think he should be suspended," Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie said on ESPN's First Take on Thursday. "Nobody is safe. No matter who you are, Roger (Goodell) will do what he wants to do. It don't matter what the rules say, he's gonna make his own rules as he goes."

Cromartie added that a $25,000 fine would have sufficed instead of the four-game penalty which Commissioner Goodell upheld after a recent Tom Brady appeal.

Brady, via the Players Association, has sued the league after Goodell's decision, with both the Patriots QB and Goodell expected in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday.
