Patriots News: Rob Gronkowski's two brothers both suffer injuries at combines

In Patriots news today, it has been a bad week for the Gronkowski brothers, with all three men currently nursing injuries.

Per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk (with information obtained from NFL Network's Albert Breer), "free agent tight end Dan Gronkowski ruptured a pectoral muscle during the bench press on Saturday at the regional combine in Detroit and had to withdraw before finishing workouts for the scouts in attendance."

This comes on the heels of brother Chris injuring his hamstring in a regional combine in Miami just three weeks ago, forcing him out of action. When reached for comment, he said his hamstring was just "tweaking a little bit."

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is dealing with his own injuries, although he seeming on or ahead of schedule in his return from a torn ACL. Gronkowski expects to be in shape to play early in the 2014 season, but no official timetable has been set for his return.
