According to team sources, Rob Gronkowski will not be in action today against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Additionally, it is not clear whether or not Gronkowski will play next week against the Dolphins either.
Gronkowski started practicing last week after a month off due to a a broken forearm, but he was unable to return to action.

The Patriots are thought to want Gronkowski to return back to action as soon as possible because the Patriots have not earned a first round bye yet for the playoffs. The Patriots currently sit in the third spot and need to win out to have a chance to earn a bye.
But it looks like the Pats are going to play it safe with their Pro Bowl tight end and let him heal until the playoffs.
