New England Patriots LG Logan Mankins has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for an illegal clip committed in Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mankins, a nine-year NFL veteran out of Fresno State, was penalized on the play. Mankins is currently the second highest-paid guard in the league, trailing only Tampa Bay G Carl Nicks.
The Patriots, who cruised past Pittsburgh 55-31, have the week off to prepare for the Carolina Panthers (5-3) on Monday Night Football November 18th.
