Wyatt Demps emerges as Pack's go-to receiver

Wyatt Demps comes from a basketball family.

His grandfather played for Oregon. So, too, did his uncle. And his brother, Cody, was a three-year starter at Sacramento State who wrapped up his career last season. But when Wyatt, who at 6-foot-4 and a sinewy 200 pounds has the perfect frame for a shooting guard, he instead followed his father’s lead.

His dad, Chris, was a defensive lineman for Sacramento State from 1984-86, bucking the basketball trend. Demps' dad didn’t play football until he was in the sixth grade and he held Wyatt out of the sport until the seventh grade.
