Wyatt Demps has been one of the nation’s most productive receivers, is in the midst of the best season by a Wolf Pack receiver since 2013 and has the most receiving scores in back-to-back seasons by a Nevada player since 2007-08, but his breakout season has come with the backdrop of team-wide struggles.
“I measure my success by how many wins we have,” Demps said, “so I’m not doing that good to be honest.”
Demps is known to be hard on himself, but his progress over the last four seasons – from an inconsistent true freshman to a stellar senior – hasn’t been missed by his teammates, who have voted him a captain for three games this season.
