The Nevada women’s golf team finished in 11th place at the Meadow Club Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif.
The Wolf Pack carded a team score of 309 on Tuesday. The team’s final round score gave them a three-round total of 916, good for 11th place in the 13-team field. Mountain West foe, and the nation’s 28th-best team San Diego State, won the tournament by finishing at 6-over par. No teams finished under par. The Aztecs bested runner-up Brigham Young by four shots. Half the teams are ranked 43rd or better.
Freshman Mari Nishiura posted the best final round and overall finish for the Wolf Pack.
