Women's basketball: Nevada grinds out win over Colorado State

The Nevada women's team is on an upswing, having won three of its past four games, the latest a 68-57 victory over Colorado State on Wednesday night.

The game at Lawlor Events Center featured 16 lead changes and was tied for more than nine minutes.

The Wolf Pack improved to 8-13 overall, 4-6 in Mountain West play. Nevada is one game out of fifth place in the MW standings.

Nevada senior Terae Briggs led all scorers with 20 points, her fifth 20-point game of the season.
