Fresno State took the lead in the third quarter and eventually scored a 65-56 win over Nevada in a women’s basketball game Sunday in Fresno.
Nevada senior Nyasha LeSure scored the 800th point of her career during the game. She finished with a game-high 15 points and added five rebounds and three steals. Stephanie Schmid also reached double-figures, with 10 points.
The Wolf Pack dropped to 4-19 overall and 3-9 in Mountain West games.
For the game, Nevada shot 34.5 percent (20-of-58) to Fresno State’s 43.9 percent (25-of-57). The Bulldogs’ Bego Faz Davalos had nine blocks.
