Women's basketball: Big second-half rally not enough for Wolf Pack in final home game

A frantic second-half comeback turned out to be not enough to overcome a frigid start on Sunday for the Nevada women’s basketball team.

Visiting Colorado State jumped out to a 10-0 lead, led most of the way, then was able to fight off a spirited Wolf Pack comeback in the second half. The end result was a 62-55 win for the Rams, who completed a season sweep of Nevada.

Senior Da’ja Hamilton led the Pack with 19 points. Her 50 percent effort from the field was one of the few shooting highlights for Nevada, which shot 31.
