Wolf Pack's Kendall Stephens aims to keep stroke accurate despite damaged thumb

After Kendall Stephens missed an open 3-pointer in the second half Sunday against Colorado State to fall to 2-of-11 shooting in the game, he ripped off the wrap on his right hand to discard the plastic cast that covered his thumb.

Stephens, who is in the midst of one of the best shooting seasons in Mountain West history, was frustrated with how his afternoon was going. He’s just hoping it’s not a sign of things to come.
