Wolf Pack's hardest-working player? That'd be Malik Reed

It’s not unusual for Wolf Pack safety Asauni Rufus to be sitting in his house late at night only to hear noise emanating from the bedroom of teammate (and roommate) Malik Reed.

“It’ll be like 11 o’clock and I’ll hear him in his room doing push-ups,” Rufus said. “He’s always doing something great and he’s always striving to get better."

Reed, one of Nevada’s two preseason All-Mountain West picks, is always one of the first guys in the building before the Wolf Pack hits the practice field. He’s usually the last guy off the field, too, toiling for at least 20 minutes after most players have left.
