When coach Amanda Levens accepted the Wolf Pack women’s basketball job last March and checked Nevada’s schedule for this season, she noticed a home game against the sports’ premier team, Connecticut.
“I thought it was a typo,” Levens joked Monday.
It's rare for No. 1 UConn, which has won four of the last five national titles, to play a road game at a mid-major school, but the Huskies made an exception this season for its star senior Gabby Williams, a Reed High alum who will play in front of the hometown crowd at 6 p.
