The Nevada women’s basketball team will compete in what amounts to a miniature season this weekend.
The Wolf Pack will play three times at the Women’s Basketball Invitational in Lexington, Ky., an event that does not use a single-elimination format, meaning Nevada will play games Friday, Saturday and Sunday to end its 2021-22 season.
Here’s a look at the 12th edition of the WBI, along with how the Pack stacks up:
Tournament format
Each of the eight teams is guaranteed three games in the tournament, and there will be four games each day.
Sunday’s schedule features the championship, as well as games for third, fifth and seventh place.
