Wolf Pack rallies past Texas in overtime to advance in NCAA Tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nevada basketball team fell down early, rallied back late and engineered its own Music City Miracle, topping Texas in Friday’s first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The seventh-seeded Wolf Pack, which won its first NCAA Tournament win 2007, trailed by nine at halftime and dropped behind by 14 early in the second half before mounting a furious comeback to down No. 10 Texas, 87-83, before 17,552 fans at Bridgestone Arena.

Jordan Caroline made 1-of-2 free throws with 3.8 seconds remaining and Caleb Martin hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2:26 left in overtime and Nevada never trailed again.
