The Wolf Pack basketball team’s summer break might include a trip to Costa Rica.
Per NCAA rules, schools can do a foreign tour once every four years and Nevada’s window for such a tour has opened since it last went overseas in 2013 when it toured Italy. The Wolf Pack, which also took trips to Italy in 2005 and 2009, are trying to finalize a trip a little closer to home this time around.
“Hopefully in the next two weeks we’ll have something finalized, but it is our thought process that we’d love to go somewhere this summer and I think it’d be great for our guys to be able to get an extra 10 days of practice and be able to play five games outside of our area,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said.
