Wolf Pack opens MW action with drubbing of SJSU

The Wolf Pack opened Mountain West play by sending a message to the rest of the conference – at least as much of a message as you can send when playing the league’s usual doormat, San Jose State.

After playing a lethargic game in its last outing, a one-point win over one-win Santa Barbara, a game Nevada termed a “wake-up call,” the Wolf Pack blew SJSU out in its MW opener in a wire-to-wire win.

Playing before a near capacity crowd of 10,098 fans at Lawlor Events Center, the Wolf Pack dominated SJSU before tying its season high in margin of victory with an 80-55 pasting of the Spartans.
