Wolf Pack leading in the first quarter against UNLV

First quarter update at 2 p.m.

The Wolf Pack opened the game with the ball and went 65 yards on eight plays for a score, a 19-yard touchdown run by QB Ty Gangi, who bounced into the end zone off a UNLV defender. After a UNLV three-and-out, Andrew Celis returned a punt for 63 yards, following his fumble early on the return, to put Nevada at the Rebels’ 12-yard line. The Wolf Pack had to settle for a 25-yard Spencer Pettit field goal from there to take a 10-0 lead. After three straight three-and-outs, Nevada moved to the UNLV 33-yard line before time expired in the quarter.
