Wolf Pack improves, but can't capitalize vs. Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Wolf Pack knew it would leave Texas A&M’s Kyle Field on Saturday afternoon with a check of $1.5 million, the payout Nevada got simply for scheduling this game.

But with about 10 minutes left in its contest against No. 17/18-ranked Texas A&M, it appeared the Wolf Pack might leave the Lone Star State with something much better: an upset victory.

Nevada trailed the more talented Aggies for most of the game on a sweltering and sweaty afternoon, but after Don Jackson flipped into the end zone to cut Texas A&M’s lead to 14 and after the Wolf Pack recovered the ensuing onside kick deep in Aggies territory, Nevada had a legitimate shot in the game.
