Nevada beats rival Rebels, 23-16, to retain the Fremont Cannon and end the season 3-9. Chris Murray/RGJ
Grades from Nevada’s 23-16 win over UNLV on Saturday.
Offense
C — The Wolf Pack offense struggled for much of the game but it came up with a key 91-yard drive to tie things late in the third quarter and had an eight-play, 61-yard drive in the fourth quarter for the go-ahead touchdown. Quarterback Ty Gangi completed 24-of-33 passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He did have two passes in the red zone that should have been intercepted but were dropped (Nevada got some fortune there).
