Nevada has a new head coach, Jay Norvell, and a vastly different offensive scheme, the Air Raid.
Brian Polian, who was fired after a 5-7 season dropped him to 23-27 in four seasons, was a proponent of the run game. Nearly 60 percent of the plays during his tenure were rushes.
