Wolf Pack falls in Top 25 despite a pair of wins last week

The Wolf Pack won both of its games last week, clinched a share of the Mountain West regular-season championship and ... fell in the national rankings?

Yep.

Wins over San Jose State and Colorado State, the two worst teams in the MW, didn't do much to help Nevada's national profile. A strong week by the rest of the teams in the Top 25 – those teams lost only seven games – also contributed to the Wolf Pack falling from No. 20 to No. 21 in the AP Top 25.

Nevada (25-5, 14-2 MW) actually increased the number of total points it received, going from 330 last week to 386 this week, but was leap-frogged in the Top 25 by West Virginia, which beat Baylor and Iowa State.
