When you think of the great home-court advantages in college basketball, you think of sold-out crowds, hostile student sections and arenas with decades of tradition and lopsided winning percentages.
The Mountain West has plenty of those in places like San Diego, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
But, there’s another MW school that has been a tricky place for the Wolf Pack to win, and it doesn’t have any of those above-mentioned characteristics. San Jose State’s The Event Center is known more for its unused seats than its fans. Instead of record-setting decibels, teams are greeted by eerie silence.
