Wolf Pack escapes, 5-4, over UC Davis

The Nevada baseball team snuck past UC Davis, 5-4, with a walk-off run on an error in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday at Peccole Park.

The Wolf Pack improved to 19-20 on the season.

With two runners on and one out in the ninth, junior Trenton Brooks hit a grounder to pitcher Blake Peters, who committed a throwing error to allow freshman Kaleb Foster to race home with the game-winning run.

Sophomore Cole Krzmarzick went 2-of-3 with two RBI and two runs while hitting his first collegiate home run. Sophomore TJ Friedl and freshman Cooper Krug each had multi-hit games to lead Nevada.
