Anthony Ruta, the longest-serving member of Eric Musselman's staff, has been elevated into an assistant coach position.
Ruta, who was the first hire Musselman made after taking the Nevada job in 2015, has served the last two seasons as the Wolf Pack's director of operations.
Ruta replaces Yanni Hufnagel, who mutually parted ways with Nevada following one season in Reno. Ruta's hire completes Nevada's full-time assistant staff, which also includes Ronald Dupree, who served as an assistant last season, and Johnny Jones, who was hired last month as the team's associate head coach.
