FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State’s Save Mart Center isn’t known as possessing one of the nation’s great home-courts advantages.
The crowds typically aren’t big, the Bulldogs aren’t NCAA Tournament regulars and there isn’t a unique or easily identifiable aspect about Fresno State’s arena. But, the Save Mart Center has proven tricky for Nevada, which entered Wednesday night’s game having lost three in a row and six of its last nine games there, with third-year head coach Eric Musselman yet to snare a win in Fresno.
