A Pac-12 team came to Nevada’s house Friday night and the Wolf Pack made it look like a Big Sky opponent.
Playing what was likely its best game in two years under coach Eric Musselman, the Wolf Pack blitzed Oregon State from start to finish, scoring a 83-58 victory before 8,090 fans at Lawlor Events Center.
Not only was the win Nevada’s first against a Pac-12 school since 2011, snapping a five-game skid against the conference, the 25-point margin of victory was Nevada’s third-largest against a Pac-12 school in the Wolf Pack’s 122 all-time games against current members of the conference.
