The Nevada baseball team’s longest win streak in 20 seasons was snapped with a 5-4 loss at New Mexico on Friday.
Friday’s loss ended an 11-game win streak.
Nevada (28-21 overall, 16-9 Mountain West) and UNM (33-18, 18-7) were tied after six innings before the Lobos scored the winning run in the seventh.
Wolf Pack juniors Justin Bridgman and Miles Mastrobuoni each had three hits to lead the Pack. Left-hander Christian Stolo started and allowed five runs on 10 hits in 62/3 innings.
The Pack entered the game with the longest win streak in the nation (out of 295 Division I teams).
