Just hours after parting ways with Nevada, Brian Polian made it clear he wants to be a head coach again.
But, first, he had a simpler goal in mind.
“As for the immediate future, I’m so tired from this last six weeks, it’s been so physically and emotionally draining, I kind of want to watch Netflix and sleep for two days,” Polian joked.
Nevada’s 2016 season was a torturous one. One of Polian’s players, Marc Ma, drown at Lake Tahoe in June, the memory of that bringing Polian to tears after the win over UNLV. His team suffered through a bevy of injuries, stumbled out of the gate and never recovered until back-to-back wins to close the year.
