Few people understand the pressure of being on an NCAA Tournament selection committee.
Nevada’s Rhonda Bennett is one of those people. The Wolf Pack’s senior associate athletic director is one of 10 people serving on the women’s basketball selection committee this season. It is the third season of her five-year tenure, and next year she will serve as the committee chair.
Bennett will head to Indianapolis on Thursday to watch championship week with the rest of the committee. They’ll starting piecing the bracket together at 8 a.m. Friday and must have a finalized 64-team field Monday afternoon.
