* THE ASSOCIATED PRESS RANKED the top-100 football programs of all-time and the Wolf Pack checked in at No. 99. You can just hear the chants out of Legacy Hall right now. “We’re 99! We’re 99!” Now, there are only 128 FBS programs in the nation, so it wasn't overly difficult to make the top 100, although Nevada has been a Division I program for only 25 seasons and there were five Mountain West teams that fell shy of that mark: San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah State, New Mexico and UNLV, which is in the running for the worst FBS program (the Rebels have never been ranked).
