* WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT the elephant in the room. In the next 10 days, Wolf Pack athletic director Doug Knuth will make the biggest decision of his 3½-year tenure at Nevada. Perhaps the decision has already been made. Likely it has. But he must determine whether Brian Polian is the right coach to continue leading the Nevada football program.
