SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Wolf Pack basketball team beat San Jose State, 71-54, on Wednesday night to improve to 17-3 overall and 6-0 in the Mountain West. Here are three takeaways from Nevada’s victory.
1. No Cody Martin = Very bad
Losing any player would present the paper-thin Wolf Pack with challenges. Cody Martin is not just any player. That was obvious in Nevada’s 17-point win over SJSU, which seems like a hefty number but was a struggle for the majority of the game.
