LAS VEGAS – The Wolf Pack basketball team lost to San Francisco, 66-64, on Saturday night to fall to 11-3 this season. Here are three takeaways from Nevada’s victory.
1. Nevada’s first ‘bad loss’
When building an NCAA Tournament at-large résumé, you want to do two things: (1) earn quality wins; (2) avoid bad losses. The Wolf Pack had three cracks at quality wins in non-conference play, games against Rhode Island, Texas Tech and TCU.
