Former UCLA basketball coach Steve Alford could be Eric Musselman's replacement at Nevada.
Alford is expected to be named as the 19th head coach in Wolf Pack history as early as Thursday On Wednesday night, multiple sources reported that Nevada and Alford were in the final stages of an agreement for the coach to take over at Nevada."
Alford, 54, was 124-63 during his tenure with the Bruins (2013 through his Dec. 31 firing); the team reached the NCAA Tournament four times. The 24-year coaching vet has also led Missouri State, Iowa and New Mexico.
