Steve Alford wants Nevada to be his last coaching stop.

That was a big selling point for Nevada Athletic Director Doug Knuth.

Nevada hired Alford to be the next Wolf Pack men's basketball coach earlier this week. His hiring was announced Thursday, and on Friday Alford was introduced to Nevada fans in an hour-long ceremony and presentation at Lawlor Events Center.

Alford has 28 years of coaching experience. He played at Indiana for Bob Knight, then in the NBA before beginning his coaching career.
