Former UCLA head coach Steve Alford is reportedly going to be the next man in charge at Nevada, according to Stadium's Jeff Goddman.
Alford was fired in December after UCLA got off to a 7-6 start this season. He had a 124-63 record in his six seasons at the Pac-12 Conference program.
Prior to coaching the Bruins, Alford's previous Division I stops were at New Mexico, Iowa, and Southwest Missouri State (now known as Missouri State).
