The Nevada baseball team’s win streak was snapped at six with an 8-5 setback to Saint Mary’s on Tuesday at Peccole Park.
The Gaels (15-10) used a five-run fourth inning to break a tie game as the Wolf Pack fell to 13-13 on the season.
Nevada scored five runs on 12 hits as sophomore TJ Friedl led the Pack with three hits and two runs and junior Miles Mastrobuoni added two hits and two RBI. Nevada used six pitchers in the loss, allowing eight runs on seven hits with seven walks.
Senior RHP Alex Lott pitched four scoreless innings while allowing only one base runner.
