When Nevada lines up Thursday to play Iowa State in its first NCAA Tournament game since 2007 it will see a nearly identical team.
Iowa State is a relatively smaller team with good athleticism and excellent shooting. The Cyclones offense is better than its defense, although both are good, and it does an excellent job of limiting turnovers. Iowa State has an excellent starting five with four scorers in double-figures but doesn’t get much help from the bench.
