NASHVILLE, Tenn. – During Caleb and Cody Martin’s junior season of high school, one of the many college coaches to visit the twins was Shaka Smart, then the highly successful head coach at VCU.
Smart envisioned bright futures for both boys – “Their jerseys would have been up in the rafters if they’d have come to VCU,” Smart said Thursday – but that future began at North Carolina State.
