The Mountain West football media days are Tuesday and Wednesday at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with the Mountain Division teams taking center stage on day one and the West Division teams headlining day two. Here is a look at seven of the top story lines at this year’s MW media days.
1. The MW and Big 12 expansion
MW commissioner Craig Thompson will address the media Tuesday and one of the topics will no doubt be about the Big 12’s expansion and the impact it could have on the MW. Colorado State has tried to put a full-court press on the Big 12, which said at its media days it will look into a potential two- or four-team expansion.
