A once celebrated and proud program has been revived and now, the Nevada men's cross country team will line up for its first race in 25 years.

The college cross country season starts Friday with Bonanza Casino Nevada Twilight Classic at Mira Loma Park in southeast Reno.

There is a definite local flavor on the team as 10 of the 13 Wolf Pack men's runners are from Nevada, including some of the top high school runners from recent years.
